NB: Programmeerimiseks peavad olemas olema mõlemad puldid. Protseduuri katkestamiseks ühenda programmeerimise klemm massist lahti.
Enne programmeerimist on mõistlik pultidesse panna uued patareid.

Puldi programmeerimine

1. Süüde sisse.
2. Pagasiluugi mootori juurest leiad musta värvi juhtmega üksiku klemmiga pistiku. Ühenda see massi.
3. Oota kuni ukselukud lukustuvad ja avanevad. [paari sek. jooksul]
4. Vajuta UNLOCK nuppu nr 1 puldil kaks korda. Vajutuste vahe 1 sek.
5. Oota kuni ukselukud lukustuvad ja avanevad. [paari sek. jooksul]
6. Vajuta UNLOCK nuppu nr 2 puldil kaks korda. Vajutuste vahe 1 sek.
7. Oota kuni ukselukud lukustuvad ja avanevad. [paari sek. jooksul]
8. Eemalda programmeerimise pistik massist.

Peale programmeerimist veendu, et mõlemad puldid toimivad. Vajadusel korda programmeerimist või vaheta pulte.

1. The ignition must be in the "run" position.
2. Find the programming connector that is hanging off a wire harness on the upper left side of the trunk by the left hand hinge. Its a 2-pin male connector with two black-with-white-stripe wires. (*)
3. When you short these two pins together with a screwdriver or shorting plug, the RCDLR will cycle the lock and trunk solenoids to confirm it is ready. This connector will need to remain shorted until your are finished programming the remotes.
4. Pressing any key (only once) on either remote will program that remote to the RCDLR. You will need to re-program both remotes once you begin the procedure. The RCDLR will only remember the last two (2) remotes programmed. Any transmitter codes that were previously programmed will be ereased.
5. The locks will cycle lock-unlock after each remote is programmed to confirm that it register its signal. Once the shorting plug is removed the alarm will sound for 1 second - this indicates that the system is ready. The system will not operate if the shorting plug is not removed.

To disable the automatic unlock-in-park feature:

1. After the last remote is programmed, but before you un-short the programming connector, press the following sequence three (3) times on a remote:
* lock, unlock, trunk
2. The RCDLR will cycle the door locks and trunk release solenoids three times to confirm at the end of the sequence.

To re-enable the unlock-in-park feature of, just repeat the above to reprogram the RCDLR to your remotes, but don't do the special three-button-three-times sequence.

You can match a transmitter to as many different vehicles as you own, provided they are equipped with exactly the same model system.

REPROGRAMMING RKE MODULE

You will need a Tech-2 Scan Tool to re-program the keyless entry system. The procedure listed below is for the 1999 Seville, but should be very similar to the other models.

When re-programming, it is always a good idea to replace the batteries in the RKE key fob.

IMPORTANT
The order that the transmitters are programmed is important, the first transmitter programmed will be transmitter #1, and the second transmitter programmed will be transmitter #2. You can program up to four transmitters. Additional transmitters are available that do not have a number on them. Any previously programmed transmitters which were not included in the programming will no longer function with this receiver. The number on the transmitters are for reference only, #2 can be programmed as #1 or vice versa. Use care to program the transmitters correctly.

1. Connect a scan tool.
2. Select diagnostics.
3. Select body code.
4. Select body style code.
5. Select other.
6. Select RFA.
7. Select special functions.
8. Select F0 program key fobs.
9. Choose the fob number that you wish to program.
10. Follow screen prompts to complete programming procedure.
11. Press and hold the lock and unlock buttons on the transmitter being programmed, the door locks will cycle. This should take about 15 seconds.
12. Continue on to the next transmitter and repeat until all of the transmitters are complete.
13. Exit the RKE programming and disconnect the scan tool.
14. Cycle the ignition and test the transmitters for proper operation.

The transmitters can be customized to have the following actions take place when a certain transmitter is used:

* P/R (perimeter) lighting on at remote unlock
* P (park) lamps on at remote unlock
* P (park) lamps on at remote lock
* Horn sounds on remote lock

To program the personalization features use the following procedure:

1. Connect scan tool.
2. Select diagnostics.
3. Select body.
4. Select body code.
5. Select body style code.
6. Select other.
7. Select personalization.
8. Select driver information.
9. Choose driver.
10. Select driver number key fob options.
11. Change functions to active or inactive as desired.
12. Save options and exit system.

To synchronize transmitters after battery replacement, press and hold LOCK and UNLOCK buttons simultaneously. Lights will flash and horn will cycle, then synchronization will be complete.

Note: Before starting this procedure, have each of the transmitters that you intend to program ready. All transmitters which are to be recognized by the remote control door lock receiver (RCDLR) must be programmed in a single programming sequence. If the system is placed in program mode it will erase all previously programmed transmitters upon the receipt of the programming signal from the first transmitter. Do not operate or program the transmitters in the vicinity of other vehicles that are in the keyless entry program mode. This prevents the programming of the transmitters to the incorrect vehicle.

On some model years you will be allowed to program a maximum of four transmitters. When reprogramming the remote control door lock receiver, ALL transmitters must be programmed at this time in order for the transmitters to operate the vehicle. Transmitters not programmed at this time will not work and the procedure will have to be redone with all the transmitters present.

Reprogramming Transmitter - BASE (1999/2000)

1. Turn Ignition Switch to OFF.
2. With a fused jumper wire (a 3 amp inline fuse is adequate) ground pin 4 (BLK-Ground) to pin 8 (BLK/WHT-Keyless Entry Program Enable Signal) of the Data Link Communications Connector (a.k.a. DLC, Under the left-hand side of the instrument panel, left side of the steering column, mounted to the bottom of the knee bolster). The receiver will respond by locking and unlocking the doors, and activating the liftgate window release (if equipped) within 2 seconds.
3. Press and hold the LOCK and UNLOCK buttons simultaneously on the first transmitter to be programmed until the locks cycle (approximately 10 seconds).
4. Repeat step for up to four total transmitters to be programmed (if available). The receiver will respond by locking and unlocking the doors and activating the liftgate window release (if equipped) within 2 seconds.
5. Remove the ground applied to the DLC.
6. Lock and unlock the doors in order to verify the transmitter operation.
7. Activate the rear window release in order to verify the transmitter operation.

Repeat programming procedure or replace transmitters as necessary.

Reprogramming Transmitter - ALTERNATE (1999/2000)

1. Turn the ignition to the RUN position, then back to the OFF position. This will disarm the theft-deterrent system.
2. Remove the RADIO fuse (Fuse 17).
3. Turn the ignition from the OFF position to the RUN position three times quickly, within five seconds. The vehicle will respond by locking the doors, unlocking the driver's doors and releasing the tailgate or panel doors. The transmitter is now ready to match to the vehicle.
4. Press and hold the LOCK and UNLOCK buttons on the first transmitter for 15 seconds. The vehicle will respond as in step 3.
5. Repeat step 4 for the remaining transmitters.
6. Replace the RADIO fuse.
7. Check that all transmitters work by pressing their buttons.

Reprogramming Transmitter - Model Year 2002 and Newer

1. Close all the vehicle doors.
2. Insert the ignition key into the ignition lock cylinder.
3. Press and hold the door unlock switch.
4. While holding the door lock switch in the unlock position, cycle the ignition ON, OFF, ON, OFF.
5. Release the door unlock switch. The doors will lock and unlock to confirm the program mode.
6. Press and hold the LOCK button and the UNLOCK button simultaneously on one transmitter. After a delay of approximately 15 seconds, the doors will lock and unlock to confirm the programming of that transmitter.
7. Repeat the previous step to program up to four transmitters.
8. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position in order to exit the keyless entry transmitter mode.
9. Operate the transmitter functions in order to verify correct system operation.
